Former Nigerian Goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare dies following battle with cancer
Agbonavbare died in a Spanish hospital on Tuesday, days after former
Spanish club Rayo Vallecano had raised money for his operation.
Tunisia 1994 Nations Cup winning second choice goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has reportedly died of cancer in Spain on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
A Futaa report says the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games gold winning second choice goalkeeper died in Spain.
Only yesterday, Spanish newspaper, Marca reported that former club Rayo Vallecano had raised money for his treatment.
His wife died years ago, also from cancer. He lives behind young children.
