The police in Edo State have arrested an 85-year-old man for allegedly raping a girl of seven.

The suspect, Peter Elaiho is said to have had forceful sexual intercourse with the child at Ogida quarters in the Egor local government area of the state.
The child’s mother, Endurance Ogieva, who reported the case to the police, said that the suspect had tricked the girl into entering his room, Punch reports.
“I did not see my daughter. I later heard her shouting. I traced the shouting to the landlord’s room, a man who is about 85 years old. I rushed there and saw the man naked. I gripped the man and both of us fell inside the chair. The man was begging me to settle but my shout attracted people,” Mrs Ogieva said.
“When they checked my daughter’s vagina, they saw blood stains and sperm. I went to the police station and the man was arrested,” the child’s mother added.
Mrs Ogieva also said that the suspect’s family had offered her N1 million to settle out of court but she turned it down
“The family of the man has been begging me to close the case but I refused because the doctor said my child had to be checked and to also ascertain whether the man has any disease. The child is too small for a man that is 85. I don’t want money. They are promising to give me N1m but I want justice from the government,” she said.
The police in the state are said to still be investigating the incident.

The rapper in a recent interview revealed that she had an abortion 16 years ago. Prior to the revelation, she has always hinted on the abortion on some of her records.

 Nicki covers the January 2015 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. (Rolling Stone) American female rapper, Nicki Minaj, has come out for the first time to talk about having an abortion.
In a candid interview with American music magazine, Rolling Stone, the rapper detailed the horror of making the decision to terminate a pregnancy at a very young age.
“I thought I was going to die. I was a teenager. It was the hardest thing I’d ever gone through,” she said about the experience at that time. “It has thaunted me all my life. It’d be contradictory if I said I wasn’t pro-choice. I wasn’t ready. I didn’t have anything to offer a child,” she said. 
Though this is the first time Nicki Minaj is talking about this abortion, she has however always hinted it in some of her songs. She first made mention of it in her 2008 record “Autography” where she referred as “Mommy” before touching on the topic again in a recent song titled “All Things Go”.
"My child Aaron would have been 16, any minute/ So in some ways I feel like Caiah is the both of them/ It’s like he’s Caiah’s little angel, looking over him,” she rapped on the song referring to a child who would have been 16, the same age as her beloved younger brother, Micaiah.
Although it is not known who “Aaron” is, the man who impregnated her, but he is believed to have been an older man from Queens, New York who she met while studying at the revered LaGuardia performing arts school.

A desperate Bakassi refugee in Cross River State has been forced to use his 12-year-old daughter as collateral for a loan which he is now unable to repay.

Edet Okon in a bid to save his older daughter from death by cancer used her sister as a bargaining chip to acquire a sum of N600, 000.
However, the sick daughter, Blessing died, in 2013 and the younger one, Mary is forced to remain in slavery due to her father’s inability to pay back the money he borrowed.
Okon told Punch of his ordeal:
“I was desperate to save Blessing from dying. Her situation had become critical at that time. That was the only thing I could do to salvage the situation. I am heartbroken. I don’t know what came over me. It was sheer desperation I gave out my daughter so that the man would accept to give us the money,” he said.
Mary on the other hand opened up on her life in slavery:
“The man my father is owing has three female children and some other relatives are also putting up with us in the house. They normally give me a revenue target of N1, 000 daily. And sometimes when the market is bad and I don’t finish selling the water, they beat me up. They treat me very badly. I eat only once in a day and that is in the morning,” she said.
“I wash all their clothes, including the ladies’ pants, and do other house chores, too. And if I hesitate on washing their pants, they get infuriated and throw objects at me at will. I will not feel happy if I go back there,” she added.
However, Mary’s plight is not yet over as she will be returned to her ‘owners’ unless her father can produce the money he owes.
Bakassi was handed over to Cameroon in 2007 forcing many Nigerians to flee their homes and livelihoods and end up refugees, like Okon and his family.

A 16-year-old girl in Delta State has given birth to triplets, according to reports.

Helen Ezeh delivered the babies in Owhelogbo community, in the Isoko North Local Government Area of the state, Leadership reports.
The children were said to have been born prematurely, after just seven months of pregnancy.
However, both the mother of the children and the newborns are doing well. The father of the children, John Eyavoro has also reportedly given thanks to God for the miraculous birth.

Nkiru is believed to have gotten married to Stanley Duru traditionally on Saturday, December 27, and according to reports, the white wedding is slated to hold on Wednesday, December 31.

Nkiru is believed to have gotten married to Stanley traditionally on Saturday, December 27, and according to reports, the white wedding is slated to hold on Wednesday, December 31.
Rumours of the impending nuptials have been whispered for a while but it seems that the deal has finally been sealed.
Reports from the grapevine have it that Stanley was in a relationship with Nkiru before he was allegedly snatched from her by Oge who later went on to have two kids for him.
However, the union between Oge and Stanley is said to have crashed after she allegedly had an affair with his best friend.
Stanley supposedly found love with Nkiru once again and the duo have reportedly decided to make their union permanent.
Nkiru, who is now a Special Assistant to the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has said a few times that she would not mind being a second wife.
Pulse reached out to the actress via email for confirmation or denial of the reports but no response has been received.

In an interview with Vanguard, Yvonne addresses the misconception people have about her, her bad girl girl roles in movies, and lesbian rumours surrounding her name.

On bad girl roles and misconceptions.
“I am nothing close to the roles I play in movies. People should understand that I am an actresses and I get scripts that expect me to act in a certain manner. As a consummate professional, I am not going to turn down those scripts because I was expected to act in a certain manner,”.
 “I am aware that some people took exception to the role I played in the movie “Heart of Men” where there appeared to be some form of frontal nudity, but the truth of the matter is that there was no such overt display of nudity. But let’s even for the sake of argument say there was some nudity, why are we so judgmental and somewhat hypocritical?
The same people who took issues with that movie watch Hollywood movies where sexually graphic scenes are shown in a most morally appalling manner. We don’t condemn such roles; we, as a matter of fact, celebrate such roles. I am not an advocate of nudity or sexually graphic images in our movies. I have actually spoken against some of those tendencies; I will never appear frontally nude in any movie no matter the fees promised.
“I have morals and my morals are held closely to my chest. As you may recall, I was not the only person in that scene; there were others, and I am always at a loss when my role appeared to have been the one that garnered the most reaction. If you have been following the industry, which I believe you do, overt resort to nudity has been greatly reduced.
It was a phase-one that was experimented by some producers and realizing that it ran counter to the values that Nollywood or Gallywood espoused, the producers went back to doing stories that are heavy on family values.”
On lesbian rumours.
“look at me….what do you think? Of course, I am not a lesbian.
Lesbianism is against my religious beliefs, it’s against my cultural norms and I think it was very mischievous for people to insinuate such about someone they hardly knew. The rumor was started by a notorious website in Ghana last year when they reported that they had never seen me with a man. In their warped and twisted calculation, I was thus a lesbian. Can you imagine such crass reasoning?
That they had not seen me with a man, and may have seen me with my girlfriends going out to have fun, and then automatically I was a lesbian. It was a hatchet job – an attempt to discredit me, but they all failed. I am heterosexual and would remain one till the end. When you are in the public light as I have been blessed and privileged to being, your life becomes a public property and some mischievous people will say all manner of things about you. It comes with the territory, so I forgive them.”

  3. Trimming/shaving pubic hair is a healthy as it is sexy. Keeping a farm in the pubic region is not so hygienic. It is just like creating a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. Having too much pubic hair can cause heat and sweat which in turn may yield boils. So shave it or trim it regularly.
  4. Wash from vagina to anus before and after sex.  Women should always try to wash the vagina – with water, before and after making love. You must note that it is healthier to wash from the direction of vagina to anus, not the other way round. This is to prevent yeast infections and the transfer of germs from anus to the vagina.
  5. Wash the penis – under the foreskin if uncircumcised, before and after sex.  Just like women, men should wash their penis before and after sex. For uncircumcised men it is imperative to also wash under the foreskin because it is susceptible to bacteria.
  6. Don’t move directly from anal and vaginal sex. There are germs in the anus that can quickly cause complications in the vagina. So moving from anal penetration to vaginal penetration is not goo Sex is good and the pleasure can turn pain if sex health and hygiene are not observed. d. If you must have both, then it is important to clean up first.
  7. Never engage in oral sex when there is a wound. If your partner has an injury around the mouth or the genitalia, it is best to skip ovoid oral sex. Otherwise, you are at risk of getting a disease.
Remember, only the healthy body and mind can enjoy sex.
