Pakistan arrests three Nigerians over mail fraud
Nigerian fraudsters have once again brought shame to the country.

Nigerian fraudsters
are still to learn that it is time to let go of fraudulent acts and
utilize the same energy into profitable ventures and now, 3 of them have
been nabbed by officials of the Pakistani Federal Investigation Agency,
FIA, for sending scam mails with the aim of defrauding the recipients.
A report carried by an influential Pakistani newspaper, The Express Tribune,
has it that an arm of the FIA, the National Response Centre for Cyber
Crimes, (NR3C), has arrested 3 Nigerian mail scammers, Chibuke Afaamu
Ohaka, Donatus Maduabuchi Ogbuagu and Emeka Obowu for sending scam
letters to their citizens and actually defrauding some.
The
FIA Director, Usman Anwar, while briefing journalists, said the
suspects operated by sending e-mails to people telling them that a rich
old man or a woman was about to die and wanted to donate money to the
poor in Pakistan.
"They would then obtain money saying that some legal charges were needed to transfer the donation from abroad."
The
3 men were arrested after complaints were filed by some Pakistani
nationals who had fallen victims of the scam and after a painstaking
investigations, they were arrested.
