Abuja millionaire in EFCC net over N750M scam
Dumebi Kachikwu reportedly turned himself in after EFCC had earlier raided his house in connection with a N750m scam.

Dumebi Kachikwu who was former married to one of the sisters of Nigerian rapper, Naeto C was arrested on the evening of Friday, January 9 by the EFCC in a case of obtaining money by false pretence.
The
EFCC had on Tuesday, December 23 invited the business man for
questioning following a petition from the Chairman, House of
Representatives Committee on Health, Ndudi Elumelu.
Ndudi Elumelu, who was until recently a Delta State Governorship
aspirant, claimed that Kachikwu fleeced him of N750million by promising
him that he would help him actualise his dream of emerging the
Governorship flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State.

Dumebi
Kachikwu did not honour the invitation and the morning of Friday,
January 9, EFCC raided the home of the business man and searched the
whole building. According to Sahara Reporters, Dumebi Kachikwu who was not at home during the raid turned himself over to EFCC later that same day.
Kachickwu
had reportedly paraded his association with the bigwigs of the party,
promising the petitioner that with the N750m he would be able to
persuade the executives of the party to support his ambitions of being
the next Governor of the State.
Kachikwu however failed to deliver on his promises as the PDP Governorship primary election was won by Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
Sahara
Reporters reports that several incriminating documents as well as five
luxury vehicles were recovered during the raid at Kachikwu’s house.
