1. Babcock University Library
Babcock University Library was opened in 1959. Univesity itself is owned and run by by the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church. It is registered as a private university. It became a first university to establish relations with one of the US universities.

At the beginning library had 12,000 volumes of books. In 1962 its
holdings increase to 27,000 books. Now Library System has about 735,157

4. Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife (OAU) Library
The permanent building of the library can host up to 800 readers. It accommodates more than 250,000 volumes, and has an area of 42,000 sq. ft. Its catalogue has more than 400,000 elements. Soon it is said to be converted from the old card format to an electronic one.

5. Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Library
The Library was named ‘Nimbe Adedipe Library to honour the first Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Nurudeen Olorunnimbe Adedipe. It situated in a modern building which can accommodate nearly 1,000 readers at a time. The catalogue now includes 75,622 titles of books.
6. Covenant University, Ota (CU) Library
This library complex is one of the largest in Africa. Its total area is nearly 11,300 m2. It is also known as “Centre for Learning Resources” (CLR). Its catalogue is completely computerized.
