Premium Times notes that Linda Ikeji’s Blog (LIB) published on Google-owned Blogger is one of the most visited pages in the country.
The site mainly specializes in aggregating and republishing news gathered from various Nigerian and international news sources, and sometimes Linda publishes totally exclusive stories.
Having seriously advanced her site in years, Linda Ikeji has become one of the most successful online entrepreneurs in Nigeria recognized as an influential young woman.
The successful blogger has been recently involved in a series of allegations of plagiarism and critics allegedly urged Google to remove the website as its rules don’t encourage plagiarism.
However, Linda denied the allegations of making materials without properly citing the sources and claims that her site was attacked on Tuesday by the envious rivals.
The allegations preceding the page removal were allegedly posed on Tuesday by the publisher of another blog, 15Past8, whose accusations Linda denied in an article saying she had given proper reference in her materials.
The official comments are yet to be obtained. Meanwhile, the famous blogger took to her Twitter page with the encouraging messages addressed to her fans and promising to “be back” soon and saying the blog is still up for mobile users.
