Foiled Arms Deal: Group Wants Jonathan, Oritsejafor In Court
A group of Nigerians has addressed #1 Federal High Court
located in Kano in relation to the mysterious and scandalous USD9.3m
(N1.5bn) arms deal foiled by South African authorities. The activists
want President Goodluck Jonathan and the President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, to give
explanations.
The five plaintiffs were led by Dr Saidu Ahmed Dukawa , who initiated the matter, TheNation reported.
They are intending to compel the leader of Nigeria and the owner of the involved jet, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, to give reasons for the alleged illegal transaction. The group is sure that more light needs to be shed on the confiscation of USD9.3m in cash, flown into Johannesburg via one of Oritsejafor’s private jets.
