Alibaba: Comedian’s wife, Mary Akporobome emerges Enterprise Bank MD

Mary Akpobome, the wife of popular Nigerian comedian, Alibaba has emerged the Managing Director of the Enterprise Bank.

Mrs Akpobome, who was formerly the bank’s Executive Director, Retail Banking, was announced the acting MD of Enterprise Bank for a transition period by management of Heritage Banking Company Limited.

The seasoned banker with over 20-years of experience and 3-years with Heritage Bank has been saddled with the responsibility of managing the internal transition processes within Enterprise Bank as well as ensuring seamless integration of the bank into the Heritage Bank operating system and culture in a way that protects all stakeholder interests.

According to reports, Alibaba’s better half’s emergence didn’t come as a surprise to many knowing fully well that she was a key executive member in the acquisition of Enterprise Bank by Heritage Bank in 2014.
