Mosun Filani: Yoruba actress loses dad

Yoruba actress, Mosun Filani, has just lost her 69-year-old father.

Mosun's father, Pa Filani who was a lecturer at the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 after a brief illness.

Speaking on his death, Barrister Kayode Oduoye - Mosun's husband and PDP House of Rep candidate for Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency, Osun state, says the the late Pa Filani will be missed;

“It was really painful when I received the news; having become a member of the family, I share with them this moment of grief and I beseech the Almighty God to grant our father eternal rest. May God also grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.

“We indeed mourn the death of our father and I would surely miss him for his words of wisdom, guidance and fatherly love but we take solace in the fact that he lived an eventful life that is worthy of emulation”. - He said.

A Burial date is yet to be fixed.
