The group have smashed through their initial target of $150,000 (£997,000) after launching the campaign last month.
Pledges
for the record started at $5 (£3.25), with the group offering
contributors the chance to receive old music video outfits, an exercise
class with member Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas, slumber parties, signed
vinyl, movie dates, phone calls, outgoing voicemail messages and more.
Among the fans to donate money was singer Katy Perry, who pledged $5,000 (£3,247) and received the gift of a slumber party with Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins.
The
upcoming LP will be the group's final album. Their previous record,
2002's '3D', was released seven months after the death of founding
member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, who was killed in a car crash in La Ceiba,
