Oya Run: Nigerian metaphoric presidential election game released
A game which is metaphorically themed around the forthcoming
presidential election has been launched by an African mobile gaming
platform.

Nigerian mobile gaming platform, ChopUp, has released its latest offering a new game called ‘Oya Run’.
‘Oya Run’ is a sprint themed game which is a metaphor for the forthcoming Nigerian presidential election.
The characters in the ‘Oya Run’ game have a striking resemblance with key political figures in Nigeria.
“This
is the first real-time multi-player game in Nigeria, where users play
against their Facebook friends anywhere in the world. It is a fun and
competitive game, where players select their candidates and race each
other for points which are then used to obtain votes to be on the
leaderboard,” Zubair Abubakar, co-founder of ChopUp revealed.
‘Oya
Run’ is a simple time killer that allows for real-time multiple player
participation and available for free download on Google Play Store for
Android devices.
