Ara: Female drummer says marriage is not in her priority

first mainstream female drummer in Nigeria has come out to say that
marriage is not on her list right now.
The drummer and singer who just turned 40 said she isn't really concerned on tying the knot.
"It is not a priority. For now, if it happens, it happens" said Ara in her interview with Encomium.
Ara separated from her husband in 2011 after two years of marriage. She was married to Prince Nurudeen Olalekan Saliu.
The marriage yielded one child, a son.
"I’ve
taken this decision very painfully; and it’s particularly a tough and
sensitive time for me and my son. And I plead with my friends and fans
to put us in their prayers at this period" she wrote in her statement four years ago when she announced the separation.
