Confusion Senegalese spiritualists allegedly stops Buhari from moving into Aso Rock

The refusal of President Muhammadu Buhari to move into the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, the official residence of Nigeria's president, has been traced to instructions given to the nation's number one man by some Senegalese Spiritualists.

According to reports carried in the Breaking Times, the Senegalese Marabouts had warned Buhari not to move into the Villa until they conduct the necessary 'spiritual cleansing' to make it safe for him and his family to move in but they have been unable to conduct the cleansing since the president has not been steady in the country since his electoral victory.

The report quoted a source in the presidency as saying:

"The Senegalese Marabouts engaged to carry out the cleansing of the Villa before Buhari moves in are yet to arrive. It is not immediately clear why they have not arrived. But I can authoritatively tell you that the President will move in to the Villa once the cleansing is done."

But the president's spokesperson, Garba Shehu has debunked the assertion, calling it a blatant lie. According to Shehu, the renovation work being carried out at the Villa is what is preventing the First Family from moving in.

"It’s a blatant lie. The Villa has been renovated and completed even before President Jonathan left office. So what is he saying? The Villa, without renovation is in good enough shape for any President to function. The renovation was only carried out as a routine requirement for the new President."
