Award winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan has apologised for blaming Igbos of piracy in the movie industry.

Renowned filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan recently took to his twitter account to accuse Igbos of being behind piracy in Nollywood.
According to him, most of the people he has met selling pirated CDs are Igbos.
Fans blasted him for his tribalistic tweets, after which he apologised, blaming his outburst on frustration.
The filmmaker also revealed that pirates already have the multi-award winning 'October 1' and are threatening to release it into the market.
