Nhlanhla Nciza, one half of the South African music group, Mafikizolo,
has announced her decision to assist families displaced by the current
Xenophobic attacks in the country while condemning the act.
Nhlanhla
recently took to her Instagram account to condemn the attack while
calling on fans, colleagues and friends to join in assisting the
affected families that have been displaced by the attacks.
In her words, "South
Africa is in the South of Africa, my home. So these barbaric xenophobic
attacks on our brothers and sisters are also attacks on me.
"I
humbly ask that we assist our sister @leratomatsoso in helping 600
displaced families in Germiston by donating food , blankets and clothes
(especially for the little ones). Please join us on Monday at 2pm @Park
Meadows, Food Lovers Market, opposite Eastgate mall. To make donations
please email leratomatsoso@gmail.com #FirstIAmAnAfrican #Ubuntu," she wrote.
