The Governor-elect of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu.
Ambode visited Oba Akiolu on Monday, April 13, 2015, at his Iga Idunganran palace in Lagos Island.
The Oba had publicly endorsed Ambode’s candidacy claiming to have handpicked him for the governorship.
Oba Akiolu courted controversy when, on April 5, 2015, he warned a group of Igbo elders to either vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate or die in the Lagoon.
