PDP Accuses Fayemi Of Fraudulent Activities
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ekiti State chapter, has
accused the incumbent governor of the state, Kayode Fayemi, of selling
valuable assets and properties of the state at give away prices.
The opposition party in Ekiti said this in a statement made available
to journalists in Ado-Ekiti by its Publicity Secretary, Pastor Kola
Oluwawole on Sunday, 31 August, 2014.
According to the statement, the PDP alleged that Ekiti properties are
being sold to chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and
cronies of Governor Fayemi.
The party also accused some top officials in the state’s Housing
Corporation and the Directorate of Lands and Planning of conniving with
APC leaders and top functionaries of the administration to perpetrate
the fraud.
The PDP added that the fraudulent sale of properties included
government assets in the state as well as some located in Abuja and
Lagos.
