2015: Omehia Faults Buhari, Atiku's Presidential Ambition
Former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Celestine Omehia, has
faulted the presidential ambition of General Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji
Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking to journalist yesterday, September 24 in Abuja, the former governor said Buhari and Atiku’s continued aspiration is blocking the interest of other Nigerians, advising them to bury their presidential ambition, Vanguard reports.
Though Buhari, a former head of state and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is yet to openly declare his presidential ambition for the forthcoming 2015 election, Atiku declared his ambition yesterday.
Omehia stated that they both have the constitutional right to aspire for any office in the land but they should rather sponsor younger candidates to the position, rather than having a perpetual aspiration.
