President Goodluck Jonathan, today officially launched
Nigeria’s new 64-page e-passport, while also telling Nigerian to respect
the nations image and shun uncomplimentary statements and actions.
With
the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting at the
Presidential Villa, Abuja soon to start, the president and his vice
Namadi Sambo were on hand to launch the document.
They both then took some time off to take passport pictures in order to be given the new and extensive document.
The president then later explained that the document had to be

always ask for a new one after a month due to the limited amount of
pages.
He then asked the Nigeria Immigration Service to make sure that the
passport integrity is maintained and ensure that fake copies won’t be
made by criminals.
He then asked the nations airport workers to conduct their selves
with dignity and not disrespect the image of the nation in front of
visitors.
The new passport which takes effect from August 1 attracts a fee of
N20,000. Have you ever had a problem with Nigerian immigration ? share
