Police vs Kidnappers: 3 Dead In Delta
Three kidnappers were killed and three others arrested in gun battle around Ogbe-Ofor Quarters, Ogwashi-uku, at the weekend.
Joint efforts of police and anti-kidnap squad operative in
Ogwashi-Uku community near Asaba, Delta State, succeeded in elimination
of a kidnap group, that allegedly abducted an octogenarian, Rangers
Okafor.
The old man was kidnapped from his house around Idumu-Aku Quarters in
the community about three weeks ago. The criminals were nabbed in a
building that served them as a shelter and where Okafor was held.
