This incident happened yesterday at Eleyele police barrack, Ibadan.The woman pictured above almost killed her 12-year old house-help. According to the source , she knocked off her tooth, poured hot water on her and nearly blinded her. Neighbours intervened before the woman did more harm to the little girl.
 Her reason was that the girl swept and didn't clean the dinning table.

The source also says that the little girl has been admitted in an undisclosed hospital and the woman is currently being detained.

Woman claims hubby battered her during pregnancy

A 20-year-old woman has begged the court to dissolve her marriage as she claims her husband abandoned and assaulted her while she was pregnant.
 
A 20-year-old housewife, Vivian Camillo, has accused her husband of abandonment and battering while she was pregnant.
In a Tuesday, January 27 sitting at the Ikorodu Customary Court in Lagos State, Vivian Camillo urged the court to dissolve her one-year-old marriage with 31-year-old Carlo Camillo.
Vivian claimed that when she got pregnant, her husband Carlo Camillo has abandoned her and even beat her.
“He batters me even during this pregnancy. I almost lost it but God saved me as I had to run away from home so that he does not kill me. He stopped giving me food when I was still living with him. In fact, he stopped me from entering his kitchen. He has also promised to enroll me in a higher institution, but he failed to do so,’’ Vivian told the court.
Vivian also accused her husband of infidelity as she told the court that she met another woman in her husband’s apartment the last time she visited to pick her property.
Vivian urged the court to dissolve the union, saying she was no longer in love with him and was tired of the incessant battery.
Camillo who is a supplier of granite, did not deny the allegations, admitting to the court that he beat Vivian only out of frustration.
He also admitted of cheating on his wife because he didn’t love her again.
The case has been adjourned to until Friday, February 27 by the President of the court, Olu Adebiyi, who is giving the couple a chance at reconciliation.

Only 5 cases of disease left in Liberia

Liberia now has only five cases of the Ebola Virus Disease left, a health official in the country said on Friday, January 23.
Liberia lost 8,600 people to the disease, accounting for the highest number of casualties in the worst Ebola outbreak ever recorded.
At the peak of the epidemic, hospitals and treatment centres in the country were filled to capacity and forced to turn sick people away.
“We have five confirmed Ebola cases in Liberia as of today,” Deputy Health Minister Tolbert Nyenswah said.
“It means that we are going down to zero, if everything goes well, if other people don’t get sick in other places,” Nyenswah, who also heads Liberia's Ebola taskforce, added.
Nyenswah said further that Liberia could be free of the virus by the end of February.

Mysterious ‘device’ discovered in Obama’s residence

A security perimeter has reportedly been set up around the White House to restrict access to the premises.
President Obama and his wife, Michelle are currently in India on a state visit and will stop over in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday before returning to Washington.
The White House suffered a series of incursions last year which resulted in congressional hearings and the resignation of then Secret Service Director, Julia Pierson.

Morgue attendant says he sleeps with female corpses to satisfy sexual urge

  
A Ghanaian morgue attendant has confessed to sleeping with female corpses to satisfy his libido.
Sharkur Lucas says he was forced to having sex with corpses because of his inability to get a woman of his own.
 “Sometimes if I want to ask a lady out, she will be afraid of me once she hears that I’m a mortuary man and turn me down. But when I’m in the mortuary sometimes, I will see a fresh female corpse and I will satisfy myself,” Sharkur Lucas said.
“The ladies sometimes say because I work in the mortuary, I will kill them if they accept my proposal. I have not done it once but many many times. Currently I don’t have a wife and since I was born, I haven’t had sex with a fine girl,” Lucas told Adom TV.
Sharkur Lucas said he does not see anything wrong with sleeping with female corpses.
“Working with dead bodies is a talent that God gave me .I’m with the dead bodies every time, everyday and it is as if I’m with another person,” the morgue attendant said.
