Jada Pinkett Smith: Actress will not return for 2nd season of Gotham

Jada Pinkett says she will not return for the second season of Fox's Batman origin story. 

 

Jada Pinkett Smith has announced that she won't be returning for the second season of Fox's Batman origin story 'Gotham'.

According to the actress, she signed on for just a year.

"I don't think so, no. I signed for a year and the year is up," Pinkett Smith said. "But there are some great things coming ahead on Gotham, believe you me. There's a lot of good stuff coming." - She said.

Jada made the announcement Friday on Live With Kelly and Michael .

The actress who was signed on to play Fish Mooney, a sadistic gangster boss, says she loves playing the villain in the show.
